The beautiful Island of Oahu in Honolulu, HAWAII!! Wow I can't believe our next destination is another tropical place!! We have so much to learn, so it's hard for me to go into detail! I can't wait for us to explore this AMAZING place!!!! And for those wondering, NO BOAT LIFE for us, Greg will be working ON LAND! Even bettttter!!! 4 years at this awesome destination!
Today was the perfect day to find out where our next adventure would be. Today marks our 6 years in the Coast Guard! Hawaii was our top 3 on our list (District and 2 Sector Positions). Turns out we got our NUMBER 1 PICK! For being priority 5, I feel like this is so rare!! I honestly feel blessed!!
Telling the Kids.
Wow, I never expected the kids to be so excited. This morning I woke Noah up and told him we are officially moving to Hawaii this summer. He could not have jumped out of his covers fast enough. Jumping up and down in his underwear so extremely excited! Why was he excited? Does he know a lot about Hawaii? Oh yes he does, he knows that you have to fly in an airplane to get there and we will likely live in a house with stairs. Laughing hysterically, I could not have asked for a better response. That's my boy! I proceeded to explain to him and Kamryn what else there is in Hawaii and they are above and beyond excited!
Kamryn has been telling all her friends and family, in her cutest voice, we are moving to HA-WAAA-EEE.
