The past week has been crazy busy!
Last weekend we went to Atlantic City and walked around the Boardwalk. We ate at Rainforest Cafe which was delicious! We are beginning to realize that it's too hard to take Noah to restaurants. He just does not want to sit still! :) Even though we had to eat extremely fast, the food was still delicious!
On Wednesday we moved into our new house!! Moving day was pretty crazy. The movers got to our house around 9:15am and were gone before lunch. They were suppose to help unpack boxes and take all our garbage but we told them they could leave because it was easier for us to just do it all. When they got their in the morning, I realized having Noah around with all the doors and back gate open, it was just not possible to get anything done. I asked a neighbor I had met a couple weeks ago if she would watch him and she was happy to! She has 2 daughters (One is Noah's age) and was also watching another little boy so Noah had plenty of people to play with! Once we had the kitchen settled and the movers were gone (2 hours or so), I picked up Noah. She said he was good, but he had random crying moments and at times would go to the window and ask for "Dada", but other than that he was pretty good.
We are still working on hanging pictures, but that will come with time! Photos don't do it's justice but here you go!
We just got chair covers for those lovely green chairs! (Sorry Nana!) :)
LOVE our Kitchen!
Living Room Needs Some Color! Eek!
I'm trying to find some cute bright colored pillows but no luck yet!
The only color to brighten this room are Noah's toys! Haha!
Testing out the barbecue Greg's grandparents handed down to us!
Works great and our steak was delicious!
Yesterday, Greg had the day off so we got out and enjoyed the weather! We took about a 12 mile bike ride around the town. We road to the Lighthouse and walked around a bit. Then road back into town and road along the beach. The town is starting to get more crowded and most of the shops and restaurants are open now.
Today, Greg surprisingly got off work at 2pm instead of 7:30pm so we went to the beach! There is a beach entrance right on base, so it's literally a 2 minute drive! It was 80 degrees today and beautiful! Noah absolutely LOVED the water! It was pretty cold but he didn't care! He had so much fun playing with sand, sea shells, and the water.
Greg gave Noah a bath when we got home...I walked in the bathroom to this...Haha!
Our Home. We love our new home. The movers were actually surprised when they came in; saying this was a nice unit, better than the other ones they had seen. So it was good compliment! The storage in our house and in our backyard is amazing! There are little projects we need to get done, like adding shelving in all the closets and storage outside. We want to do something to the front of the house, add flowers or something to spruce it up a bit! Hanging photos and curtains are on the top of the list, but we keep putting it off. :) There is a park right in our backyard and another one behind the next group of houses. We usually go over to the other one, where there are more kids. Noah loves seeing other people and ends up following them around the park.
Well, I think we are all caught up!
Cheers!
Those beach pictures are so good! They look professional :) I'm so glad you guys are having fun!
