3rd Trimester! 27 Weeks!

Total Weight Gain: Around 11-12lbs
Names: NOPE..still up in the air!
Regular Clothes or Maternity: Both. I am still wearing my regular jeans and the belly band. Maternity shirts all the way!
Stretch Marks: Just from my little Noah Bug :)
Sleep: Having a lot of dreams but sleeping pretty well.
Fitness: I wish I could say I have been walking :( But the only exercise I am getting is running around with Noah :) Don't get me wrong, I almost consider that moderate exercise!!
Miss Anything: I'm starting to miss wearing all my clothes. It's definitely hard getting dressed everyday. Wish I could wear sweats all the time! And WINE of course..Wine will be something I miss until the day I can have a glass haha.
Baby Movement: I am feeling her a lot and loving every second. I think she might be a little stubborn. Every time I tell Greg to feel, I swear she stops moving! The evenings when I get to sit and relax is when I feel her most. It's funny to feel her move on both sides of my belly.
Food Wants/Needs/Have-to-Haves: Sandwiches and cookies :)
Foods that Make You Queasy/Sick: Meatloaf
Have You Started Showing Yet: You could say that ;)
Boy or Girl Predictions: It's a GIRL! :)
Labor Signs: Noo but feeling occasional tightness, which I am guessing is a slight case of some braxton hicks.
Belly Button In/Out: Holy moly it's definitely out!
Wedding Rings On or Off: On
Mood: Pretty normal. I've been a little emotional the past few days, lets hope that changes!
Pains: Lower back pain and tailbone pain.
Feelings About Being Pregnant: Time is FLYING by. I can't believe I am already in my 3rd trimester. I am feeling pretty good. I catch myself waddling here and there but correct myself right away haha. I think my belly is going to be very pointed compared to how my belly was with Noah. I feel like the baby is sitting higher also. I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET HER! I wish I could prepare a little better. The only part that's tough with the Coast Guard is that we are in transition. We are not in our own home where I can get the baby's room ready. I do not feel prepared!! It freaks me out. I know everything will fall into place but I wish I could give her a special welcoming like we did with Noah. I wish I could have her room all decorated. But all that little stuff aside, I am extremely grateful to be in our hometown with all our family and friends. I'm so glad everyone will be able to meet her before we move to our next destination.
How's the Big Brother: Noah is fabulous! He is one happy kid. He's 2 years 3.5 months to be exact! He is loving gymnastics (his new favorite activity), perfecting somersaults and swinging on the rings are his favorite, he's full of energy all day every day and keeps me on my toes! Playing outside is a necessity for this little guy, and if he's not outside, he is inside playing trains! He thinks the baby is growing in his belly lol. I watch him take care of his baby (meaning Baby Greta, yes, THE Baby Greta!), and I already know he is going to be an amazing big brother. I kind of feel like I should start soon on preparing Noah for a big change. But then part of me knows that he just doesn't understand. So instead, we decided to make some changes BEFORE the baby is born, one being the pacifier. We FINALLY took his pacifier away! Yay! We are on night 4 and it's going pretty well. He doesn't really ask for it which is awesome. The first night was the hardest, it was almost like "crying it out" all over again. We aren't quite sure if he just didn't want to sleep or if he just didn't know how to soothe himself to sleep. Let's just say, it was a rough one for a good hour and a half! Last night was the first night he slept through the night so fingers crossed everything keeps getting better. Next, we are considering potty training. I've never really wanted to force it, and with all the changes coming up in the next few months, we can see it back firing if we start now. So it's still up in the air. Noah is close to being ready. When he is naked he goes in the potty but if their's a diaper, he will tell us after or not at all. So we will see!

Noah's Kitchen he got for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa all put together! :)
Noah, Jack, and Dallas playing on the Trampoline. TOO FUN!
Coloring is a new interest. He is always so proud when he is finished

Baby Girl..Almost 6 months!!

Wow, can't believe how quick this pregnancy is flying by! Greg and I were chatting last night, and realized we don't have too much time left! It kind of hit me like a ton of bricks...we are going to have TWO kids! Call me crazy, but that's a little scary. I know it will be amazing and we can't wait to meet Baby Girl!

23 Weeks..growing growing growing!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: As per last week, 5lbs but then there were all the holiday parties so guess I'll find out next week at my appointment.
Names: I should just take this off...haha. We have a few names in mind, but hearing your opinions aren't really in the cards for us ;)
Regular Clothes or Maternity: Both. I am still wearing my regular jeans with the top button unbuttoned and the belly band.
Stretch Marks: Just from my little Noah Bug :)
Sleep: Sleeping is going alright. I wake up a lot at night on my back (which you're not suppose to do). Still gotta get that preggo pillow out, but the bed we are in is so small lol.
Fitness: I walk when I can but since we have been back, it hasn't happened much. With the holidays, being sick (not from pregnancy), and weather, it's almost impossible. Excuses Excuses I know!
Miss Anything: During the holiday..wine of course haha. Cracking my back lol
Baby Movement: Definitely feeling her more. Mainly hitting me in the bladder lol. It's a funny feeling. Not sure I remember that with Noah. I've been expecting to feel her a little more than I do but I think I'm just anxious.
Food Wants/Needs/Have-to-Haves: Sandwiches...preferably Lucchesi's Deli :) YUM!
Foods that Make You Queasy/Sick: Meatloaf and Lasagna
Have You Started Showing Yet: Oh yes! Belly button is out!!
Boy or Girl Predictions: It's a GIRL! :)
Labor Signs: Noo
Belly Button In/Out: Out!
Finding Out the Sex of Baby: Yup, it's a Girl!
Wedding Rings On or Off: On
Mood: My mood has been up and down i'd say. I probably was a little too emotional on Christmas with Greg working lol but besides that I think I am okay.
Pains: If I do too much with Noah or just during the day, I have pretty bad lower back pain. Lately it has been feeling alright though. Other pains, cramping and tightening of the lower abdomen.
Feelings About Being Pregnant: Feeling great! I mostly feel pretty normal which is a blessing I know :) I can't believe we are going to meet our baby girl in 4 months!

Our little princess is already getting spoiled! Some gifts she received for Christmas from family...

So cute, so fun! :) Doctors appointment next Thursday. I can't wait to meet my new doctor! I have heard great things. I still can't believe I will be having our baby right down the street from my house. Talk about convenient!

Christmas Celebrations!

First off, I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas! We kept very busy and enjoyed every moment!

Saturday we went to a White Elephant party with Greg's family and friends. It was a good time with good food. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures. Let's just say there was lots of eating and lots of people giving Noah horseback rides! LOL. Oh, and the gifts, well they were...interesting ;)

Sunday was the Busick/Kunst Christmas party at my in-laws house. Always a good time! The weather was rainy in the morning, but by the time everyone got there, the rain had stop and we were able to enjoy the outside (even if it was a little chilly!)
My amazing father-in-law fixed up this swing
(Greg and all the kids use to play on this when they were very young)
 Noah absolutely LOVED it!
Santa came to the house and of course Noah was super excited....Love that he's not scared of Santa!!

Noah and Cousin Nettie Checkin Out the Tree :)
Noah's Cousin Nettie is ADORABLE. So glad we were able to spend some time with her and her fam! Her and Noah got along pretty well. I think if we had more time with them, Nettie would be the first person Noah would be protective over. They were so cute.
"Mom, Dad, get Noah's sticky fingers out of my hair" lol
Sorry Nettie! ;)
The Cousins! This isn't even half of them!

After the party, Greg, Noah, Cathy, and I headed out to look at Christmas lights. :)

Noah went right up to Santa and gave him a high five. I think he thinks that is what you are suppose to do with Santa haha

Monday, Christmas Eve, we decided to celebrate "Christmas"! Greg had to work on Christmas so on Sunday night, we got the cookies and veggies out for Santa and his Reindeer. We were pretty excited and are SO glad we decided at the last minute to celebrate Christmas early. When Noah woke up on Monday, I am pretty sure he was a little overwhelmed. All he wanted to do was have some milk, sit with Santa's half eaten cookies, and watch Fireman Sam. So you can say we took our time :) After Noah woke up a little, we had breakfast and started opening presents! He was very spoiled this year! He got a lot of big gifts..which I guess we will worry about shipping them to our next home when the time comes! ;) He is one lucky little boy!

 Breakfast!
 A BIKE from Santa!!
 Stocking...
Rolling Backpack from Mommy and Daddy
Baseball Tee from Auntie Meghan and Uncle Doug! He yelled "Baseball!" So cute.
He got so much more (including a play kitchen, shopping cart, bowling set, baseball glove etc), but didn't want to bore you with ALL the pictures! ;)
Of course, after presents we got dressed and went outside to test out the new bike. He is slowly catching on, soon enough he is going to be flying down the driveway! lol. I don't see that too far in the future!

Monday night we celebrated at Greg's Aunt and Uncle's in Novato. Just like every year, a ton of crab, some paper throwing, and lots of laughs. It is always a good time. :)

Last, but certainly not least. Christmas morning, Noah and I headed over to the Busick's for presents and brunch. Greg was working and couldn't make it which was definitely a bummer. But everyone was there including John, Angi, Jack, and Charlie! We had missed them the whole weekend because they were all pretty sick so it was nice to see them on Christmas morning. So mad and surprised at myself for not taking ANY pictures this whole day!! I guess I had my hands full with Noah that day lol. Christmas night we headed over to Sebastopol, where we had dinner at my brother's mother-in-law's house. There was a ton of food and it was AMAZING! She always cooks a delicious meal! After the dinner, Noah and I stopped at my Aunt and Uncle's house in Petaluma to say hi and have dessert.

You can say we were extremely busy this Christmas. As much fun as it was, we are all exhausted and are currently recovering from all the festivities ;) Thank you everyone for all your wishes. We can't wait to celebrate the holidays next year with our family of FOUR! Hopefully Baby Girl will have a name by then ;) hehe.

Christmas Festivities Begin NOW!

Last night we celebrated Christmas with my brother and his family and my parents. My parents are heading to Colorado to spend Christmas with my sister and Doug so we celebrated a little early. I'm SUPER jealous, wish I was going to Colorado to see them too! ;)
We had a fabulous night. Love hanging out with my family and watching all the kids play together. Sometimes I can't believe the time has come that my brother and I have kids!! They get along so well and I love every second of it! It is so nice to be home for the holidays!

Sophie, always taking care of Noah ;)
Always letting me know what Noah is up to lol

I am so so excited for Christmas this year. Noah is going to go crazy when he wakes up on Christmas morning! I love that he understands what goes on for Christmas (well, mainly Christmas Lights, Christmas Trees, and Santa).
Greg left for A School on Sunday and hasn't been home since. We definitely miss him and can't wait to see him (hopefully!!) Saturday. He sounds like he is doing well. The first week seems like a lot of rules and all about behaving so I am sure he looks forward to this week ending. I hate that he is so close and we can't see him. But, again, I feel so lucky that we are here in our hometown while he is in A School...with the bonus of it being the holidays and for the birth of our baby girl!

I had some fun with my mom's new camera today...hehe.

We're Home in Petaluma!

Well!! We survived the flight!

But before I get into the flight...

We started the day with finishing up our house and getting everything out and cleaned. It was a rough night, Noah woke up three times, and Greg and I woke had a rough night sleeping on an air mattress. Noah woke up with a raspy voice and Greg with a cold. You can say we were a little nervous about how the flight might go. We were pretty nervous. All the change that was going on, you could tell it was affecting Noah. He was..lets say..a bit of a mess. ;) But by the time we got to the airport, Noah was all smiles. He just loves airplanes!

So once we were on the airplane, we found out that there were some problems with the bathrooms so we ended up being delayed for over an hour. That was rough considering there is already so much you can do to entertain a kid for 6 hours let alone adding on another hour! Well anyway, we mainly entertained Noah with food and walking up and down the aisle. He wasn't really in the mood for toys. He was actually pretty tired, but had a hard time falling asleep and only slept for about 30 minutes. All in all, I was just grateful that Greg was with us this time!
My dad picked us up and Noah was stoked! He ran as fast as he could, even cutting some people off, and right into Grandpa's arms! Always fun to watch :)
So we made it safe, and the plane ride was just OKAY. lol. Again, I would say nonstop is probably not the best thing to do but at least we get the ride over with and get home faster! ;)

Only a little tired ;)

It still doesn't feel like we have moved back to California. Greg and I feel like we are visiting! But we are settling in nicely and love catching up with family. Yesterday, Cathy watched Noah so we could head over to the Coast Guard Station to get some stuff done. I haven't really seen the base besides the gym where I played basketball in high school. There are a lot more amenities there and I'm looking forward to exploring. I have already been connected to the Facebook page and it sounds like they have a lot of things going on around base. I love that they have play dates in the gym every week, and if I wasn't pregnant, they have FREE exercise classes every day in the gym! Sounds amazing to me! They have a heated pool, small lake, bowling alley (Tuesdays are free), movie theater (Friday showings are free), pizza place, sports bar, coffee shop, library, post office, chapel, bank, hair salon and barber shop, mini mart, exchange, teen center, child care/preschool/pre-k, Subway, and a gas station!

Hope everyone is well! :)
